In the new millennium, Cardiology is one of the areas where research is most active and nevertheless remains a tremendous cause of morbidity and mortality world-wide, especially in developing countries.

The www.cycardio.org is an excellent opportunity for physicians, scientists, and the community interested in cardiology to gather and share their knowledge and experience.

The www.cycardio.org is also a great opportunity to strengthen links with colleagues from around the Mediterranean Region and the Middle East, to exchange ideas with those with similar economical and social conditions and to further stimulate us all to address the many important questions that remain in the control, management, and understanding of Cardiology in this Region.
